ABOUT OUR MODERATORS

Moderators are a very important part of our online community. Moderators are volunteer members of our community that have been entrusted with special privileges to help enforce the community's rules and ensures a FRIENDLY, FAIR, and IMPARTIAL environment for all participants. While Moderators of our community will have the abilitiy to delete or adjust posts, they are NOT CENSORS. They will not delete posts that they do not agree with or from people that they do not "play nice" with. As stated it is our goal to have a FRIENDLY, FAIR and IMPARTIAL environment open to everyone interested. Having Moderators from within our community allows us to "police" ourselves. Keeping undesirable content such as foul language, flaming (or hostile interaction between users), spam, etc. out of our community.

While ANY member may apply (click here to apply) Moderators will be chosen carefully. Moderators will be expected to be FRIENDLY, FAIR, IMPARTIAL and exercise GOOD JUDGMENT. Moderators will be on the honor system, however, a Moderator found to be abusing their position or not following the Forum Rules and Moderator Guidelines may have their community privileges suspended or revoked. Select Moderators demonstrating good judgment and participation will be invited to be community Administrators.

Moderators will NOT be expected to hold regular hours or to work alone. When you visit the site if you see something that needs a moderators attention, you intervene and or provide assistance. We are a team. Several Moderators will cover each part of our community to ensure that the community is properly protected.
